Old El Paso wanted to position itself as the solution to the dinner routine many families have trouble breaking out of. So we started a Dinner Revoluçion and called people to action with the battle cry — You Mexi-Can! The campaign began with teaser pre-roll videos that delivered the message in 5 seconds and rewarded those who stuck around. Disruptive ads online and out-of-home came next, followed by 2 television spots — all driving to our new Old El Paso FaceBook page at YouMexi-Can.ca Within the first 3 weeks attracted over 50k Facebook followers. By the end of the campaign, the Dinner Revoluçion conquered the dinner routine and succeeded in raising Old El Paso's sales from a negative to a positive score.
